well "squirt" which *** had since fry, now has fry of his own!

got him a girlfriend a couple weeks ago and they been hiding in a tree stump most of the time, went to move it out to redecorate and HELLO!
atleast 30 fry squirming about fell out, and then quickly scooped up by mommy and daddy,
i returned the stump and will leave it till they can at least swim, hopfully it will be before we move june 1st. then i can flush them out and transport.

moms about 2" and pops about 2.5" and they are currently in a 1g with the stump taking up about 80% of the floor, and 3 plants and another lil cave like thing.
im going to move them up to a 20L during the move. and use more plants and less stump.

not too sure of the long term plans for the new family tho.

well the 40+ babies are thriving now!
since last post we have moved also, and am now in process of moving the babies to a 20L
i built two stands for a 10 and 20L so my wifeand i have two less stands in the new house, and now the 20 is on top, 10 below, and a shelf/doors at bottom,

a couple weeks ago unfortunalty we lost the momma, she attacked the hose during a WC and got a bit scuffed up so we mover her to a hospi tank since squirt was harrassing her and the next day she missed her babies i think and jumped out. didnt find her till about 6hrs later on the carpet.

the lil squirts are about 3/4" now have 21 in the new 20g tank and had to stop due to stress.
i counted roughly 44 at 1/4" and still looks to be another 20+ still in the 10g with squirt
im going to leave about 5 in with him for a while.
