At the moment it appears more RD, but then again they look very similar as juveniles. However, it's almost guaranteed to actually be a mix of the two species. It's basically impossible to get one that isn't unless you order a specific pure breed from a very reputable breeder/supplier. As it matures, it will take on the appearance of one more than the other.

What are the dimensions of the 100gal? Tank mates - likely nothing when it matures, but it will really depend on the temperament of your fish. There are some that are a bit more mellow than the rest, and your odds improve greatly if it's a female, but most are very aggressive.

It's too young/small right now...once they hit about 4-5" they're typically pretty easy to sex. Just requires venting them...there are no physical appearance differences that accurately sex them.

Basically checking their reproductive organs to tell male from female. There's an article on venting in the library of this site, I believe.
