I have 2 AC 110's on my 75 (well had 2). I left for the weekend, when I came home one of them was dry and the motor was not running. The water level in the tank was fine and both had been running quiet until this happened. It was a year old at the most! Just wondering if anyone else had any experience like this, I have not heard too much bad about these filters and have 3 others that are working fine. Maybe a fluke? I have been looking for an excuse to get a canister for that tank anyways

Check the reviews, but this is probably the #1 rated filter on this site. I currently own three and plan to buy another... So I vote fluke.

They are good filters but if you must clean the impellers on a regular basis. All it takes even a quick power outage and they sometimes will not restart on there own unless they are clean.
