Hi!

I was just curious if a 29 gal would be ok to use as a hospital tank for my Salvini?

How large is your Sal and what is going on that you need a Hospital tank?

IMO, it would work as a QT tank for one sal. Hope this helps and let us know if you have any other questions.
Ok thanks! I just want to setup it up incase if something does happen. Yeah I was only going to keep one Salvini in it. Thanks!
Is this just in case one of your pairs starts to have marital problems?
Yes and no. I have been having problems with either Bloat or Dropsy. And I am currently treating for it in the 40 gal. I just want to have it setup incase something really bad comes!
That is too bad, I am sorry to hear that. I hope that everything turns out ok. Mean while it is alway good to have a backup tank. Good thinking!

Yeah! I hope it all turns out ok as well! Everything is going great with my tanks as far no water change problems. And I have 3 Female Salvini in the 40 gal that are maybe 1.5 in and then I have 4 corry cats. I know the corry's shouldn't be in there but I have to have them in there right now because I am watching a Male Salvini in the 20 gal H. Two of the Salvini are bloated out and hiding a lot and and scratching from time to time on rocks. I also have 2 Corry's with the same symptoms. I will take some pictures later tonight so that you can see what I am talking about and maybe you guys can help me. Also so that people dont think I am just trying to get attention and setting up a hoax.
