I just purchased a 240 g tank and stand that is plumbed and ready to go. I have a scratched up standard 60g acrylic tank that i would like to use as an sump. I was wondering if anyone has done this before and what design did you use to make it?
One of the big concerns I have is that the sump will not be easy accessible once I place it in the stand. In the stand the tank will have atleast a foot of head room but with the acrylic around the topsides will that make it a pain in the butt to do maintaince on.
If there is anyone that has seen this done or has pictures please chime in. Thanks
