Hey guys just wanted to show you my stock list before I did anything. I'm looking for any comments or crticisms on the list.
Here's my stock list...
3 powder blues (Pseudotropheus scolofi)
3 Red zebras (Pseuddotropheus estherae)
3 yellow labs (labidochromis caeruleus)
3 Fuellborn's (OB)(labeotropheus fuelborni)-this is not a peacock
3 Acei (Pseudotropheus acei)
3 Hongi's (Labidochromis hongi)
1 Lace catfish (syodontis nigrita)

That's alot of species for a 55G tank. I wouldn't have more than 3 if you plan to breed and distribute fry from the tank.

On that note, keeping the red zebras and yellow labs together (especially in those low group numbers) is a huge risk for hybridization.

With those small species groups, you may have some very stressed females once they fully mature, and it will probably be a high stress tank.

Do you know your male / female ratios for the groups yet?

You may have some hybridization issues with the L. caeruleus and M. estherae and/or L. sp. "hongi".

Larger groups and fewer species would probably make for a more successful tank.

I would suggest

5 Pseudotropheus socolofi
5 Labidochromis caeruleus or L. sp. "hongi"
5 Pseudotropheus sp. "acei"

Labeotropheus fuelleborni are a large, aggressive fish that isn't well suited to a 55 gallon. It might be a bit of a risk to add them.

that's fine i kinda knew I was gonna have to change the list
