I'd stick to 7X to 10X hourly turnover so you would be looking for 400-550 gph as your total.

The article in the Library says to allow 2 pounds of sand per gallon.

The fish you have chosen have less colorful females so the majority of fish in your tank will not be the colorful ones. Also you are likely to find that they will not tolerate more than one male per tank.

If you want a species tank, try Labidochromis caeruleus.

Or you could do 3 species in a 55G with 1m:4f of each but choose each species from a different genus and fish that look nothing alike. For example, the elongatus and cynotilapia might be too similar looking (both being blue barred fish) to mix well in a tank.

Chimate is likely the collection point in the lake. There is not a profile for every possible collection point, but you will find much of the information in the Cynotilapia afra profiles is similar and will likely apply to this fish as well.

If you Google it you will find info that Chimate may not be a real location (collection points are kept secret to eliminate competition) but may be on the Tanzania side near Hai Reef.
