Hows it going, i was thinking about upgrading my 30 gallon to a 55, to give my fish the space they need.

I just wanted to check if this mix was alright.

1m/4f Melanchromis Johanni
1m/1f Lab. Hongi
8 Lab. Hongi Fr
1m/3f Cyno. Jalo Reef

Also i was thinking of getting 3-4 syno multipunctus. ( dont know how to spell it haha)

I guess i just want to make sure that theres enough room, and to make sure that those 3 species can co-exist.

I think those will all do fine - if they are right now (referring to the pair of Lab. hongi).

As for the cats - if they are like Syn. petricola - they should do fine.

Should be fine. I have 1m/1f + 6 fry Hongi, as well, and the male hasn't killed the female (they've been the lone pair in there for like 6 months and have bred 3x).

I think the Johanni might be too agressive for 55. I hear many people love the M. Maingano.
