Hey, I'm new to the forum and new to Cichlids (but not to fish keeping).

I've got a 52 gal 3ft x 1.5ft x 1.5ft tank that is cycled and ready to go, but I can't decide on what to stock it with, and I'm scared to do the wrong thing because I'm more than likely not upgrading to anything larger.

I also would prefer an all male tank, I'm not interested in raising any babies.

My current plans are to have:

Saulosi and either red zebras or yellow labs.

Are these fish compatible for my size tank?

Any suggestions what would go well in my size tank??

How many am I able to fit in there?

Thanks heaps

Raz xx :fish:

Because it is a 36" tank your options are limited. All male will be challenging. I might try 5 very small, very timid peacocks and haps. Aulonocara kandeense. Lethrinops auritus.

Instead I would probably do a peacock species tank with the kandeense. Or a species tank with one of the Victorians like Christmas fulu or Ruby Green.

+1 on a species tank.
Add a catfish that will be happy on its own, and the babies should never be a problem.
