Just finished replanting my 40g. I have never done it for a tank this big and was curious how it would turn out. Sorry some of the pics are blurry, not really a good photographer. Let me know what you guys think.

And some of the plants:

Giant Red Rubin Sword

Madagascar Lace

Don't know how to make the pictures any bigger either. Any help with that?

You can resize them either with Photobucket (the best photo host, IMO) or with editing software.

It looks nice...What's your proposed stock list?

Ah ha. Think I have it now!

Might be removing some of the plants soon as it seems a little overstocked.

As for the stocklist have not really decided. I would like to get some Apisto's but they are quite hard to come by so if I find a nice pair of German Blue Rams I may do that instead. Most likely 3-4 otocinclus, 15 Cardinal tetras, and possibly 2 angels. But like I said, have not fully decided. Let me know what you guys thinks.

I would clear out a bit of space towards the center of the tank and move the plants over to either side...

Sorry to keep bumping this one but want to make sure I do this correctly before I start adding fish.

Anyone have good ideas for tetras to mix in. I mentioned cardinals but am willing to try others. I have heard that bleeding heart tetras will also work because they are not fin nippers.

Any suggestions??

My favourite tetras are rummy nose tetras. They tend to school well even in smaller groups, and those red noses are a great indicator of how your water is doing. If the noses fade at all, it's time to do a water change...
