hi i have i think a dragons blood aulonocara here but what i really want to know is its about 50 ml long is this colour consistant with a fish of this size.and at what size would you say they should start to change to a brighter red

The Dragon's Blood, strawberry peacock, golden peacock, etc. are all various trade names for a man made hybrid aulonocara. Due to the variety of species used when making these hybrids, there is no consistant color or growth rate.

Your fish looks nice and healthy. He (or she) may beciome more red, more orange, a golden color, or just stay peach. Only time will tell.

yep, i have 2, my one stayed a peach color the gill area did turn a redish color.
my other one is a pale yellow with a nice red blotch by the gill area. very pretty. i like the yellow one better. but shhhh dont tell them that! :lol:
