Would 2 breeding pairs of cons be to much for a 29G?? I have both pairs in my 180 gallon right now and they both spawnd right in the middle of the tank about a month ago. The only thing that really seperates them is a rock thats only about 8in long and 4 in tall and they do great they just flair at each other every now and then. Also what do u all think about feeding the fry once there a little larger to my other cichlids?

I agree with mike, two pair is too much for a 29. In the 180 if violence does break out the weaker pair can go hide somewhere else. As for feeding the fry to the other cichlids, great idea. Your cons will spawn constantly, so that will give you a way of getting rid of excess fry as well as giving your other cichlids a good fresh snack.
