hey guys i have 125gal with the following all male stock:

s.fryeri
pr.spilonotus
pr.mozambique
o.lithobates
au.baenschi
au.jacobfreibergi

m.zebra (albino)
L.hongi
ps.flavus
ps.demasoni
ps.acei
cyn.afra cobue

+ 4 clown loaches & a bristlenose

what i would like to know is what would be my best option for more tankmates???
all of my fish are happy and getting along now with barely any aggression, thanks to a few good comments on creating more caves and rockwork... :thumb:
+removing my psychotic stuartgranti peacock
(*** also revamped my 40gal sump )

i know someone will chime in and say dont mix mbuna's and haps, but hey its worked for me for over a year, im not going to return any of my fish because theyre all happy
i just want any input on what my best options are for more malawis so my tank looks less bare...

acei are colorful and mild mannered.stay near the top of the tank and school too.

how many do you reckon would be a good number? 10?
only thing is i allready have heaps of blue fish... i was leaning towards like 10 or so yellow labs because theyre wusssy and would be a good contrast in colour...

yeah i wanna get a C.Borleyi, P.electra and Red Empress...
was contemplating a N.venestus not too sure on how he'd fit in , never had 1 but have been told they arent that cranky in an all male setup, is this true?

it depends on the fish.i hear allot about how bad tempered kenyi's are but i have no problems with mine.hes yellow too

you shoulda seen my kenyi, he was NUTS!
removed him because he was psychotic!

i keep waiting for him to go crazy but he doesn't.he's about 4 1/2" to 5".how big was yours when he was actin crazy?

around 3.5 to 4inches...
but oh man when he was like 5 inches i couldnt take it anymore...

they are great looking fish, just bully's tho

back to my question tho...
i want more fish and hopefully a completely diff colour, yeah my main focus is the now the haps and peacocks, but i really dont think more of the same will make the tank pop' like ten yellow labs or sumthing with a solid bright color (not blue).

however i think i may run into probs down yhe track with labs as theres a good chance of upping aggression if females end up in the mix...

what fish do you think i can add to make this tank pop'??? :fish: :fish: :fish:

WooHoo! just bought my 1st P.electra!
it really has a different character than all my other haps...
i drop'd him in and he started scavenging in the sand for scraps straight away! gutsy lil fish considering how big the others are :lol:

(oh yeah i actually forgot to mention i have an I.sperengae)
