Before I start I know the mixing of CA and Africans is looked down on but I am giving it a shot knowing things could change quickly although they have been fine for the first few months. I recently got a 125 gallon 6ft tank to go along with my standard 55 gallon. I have in the 125 at the moment the following -
1 Jack Dempsey - about 5 inches male
1 Green Terror - about 3.5 inches think female
1 Bumble Bee - 4 inches male
1 Blue Zebra - 4 inches male
1 Electric Blue - 4 inch male
1 Auratus - 3 inch male in with these because he is too mean to stay in 55 with smaller fish

What else could I add to the tank. I was considering possibly adding an oscar.

I have in my 55 gallon- these are my smallest fish with most being around 2 inches although the two zebras are bigger than that
1 convict - might eventually move 125 but is really small
1 yellow lab
1 red zebra - think male
1 albino zebra
1 jewel
1 peacock
2 pictus cats

I had these all in a heavily rocked 55 gallon since december knowing was going to get the 125. I have separated them as mentioned above and removed about half of the rock work from the 55 since should not need quite as many hiding places since stocking is down in it. I will be adding more rockwork etc to the 125 as I go.

thanks for any input.

Sounds like a one and only. The Oscar might not make it with a mature jd in the 125 depending on size and maturity. You definitely have your hands full. Good luck and please keep us updated on the progression of this tank and stock.

Well I added a Tiger Oscar to the 125. The other fish would come up to him. He would bow up to them and then if they didnt leave my Jack Dempsey would come over and break it up. There has been almost no chasing and he seems to be settling in good. It was pretty interesting to watch Jack bust up any arguements.
