Hi Everyone!

I recently bought a fairly new 110 gallon tank for $250 with stand and canopy included. I think the guy was hard up for money. The tank dimensions are 60" long X 18" wide X 20" tall. I was really looking for a 140 gallon with the same base dimensions just 10" taller and thought the 110 stand might work for the 140 gallon tank and at $250 I couldn't pass it up. I know the 140 will fit the stand but I am worried about is weight difference. Any ideas on the subject?

If anyone knows how to identify what brand of aquarium it is I would like to find out as I can't find any manufacturer marks on the tank or stand. Your opinions are appreciated! :D

Here's a photo of the tank and stand

add more supports for sure before you add more water.. an extra 30 gallons is nearly 400 lbs w/ gravel and fish and deco... so yeah just add some 2x4 inside the stand maybe.. just reinforce ur existing supports really then u should be alright.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. Better safe than 140 gallons of water on my living room floor! What would you suggest for substrate? I will be keeping mostly cichlids and I really like the look of sand but I want to have a few live plants in there a well.
