Unique fresh flow system can be used as either a breeder or isolation unit. The built-in air diffuser continuously re-circulates oxygenated aquarium water through an adjustable spray bar. Excellent for use with pregnant females, livebearer fry, injured, or bullies/bullied fish. Two suction cups are provided to attach the unit to the inside aquarium glass. Breeding unit is divided into two upper and lower sections. Can also be used as a standard breeding trap if the water circulation system is turned off. "Ahhh, OK I guess"
I can NOT recommend this product. I found it was made out of VERY thin plastic "typical of the current economy" and 2 of the three on the shelf were cracked. The lid is difficult to remove while in the aquarium. I took out all of the useless inserts and used it to house fry still with slight egg sacks. Personnally I found using a MUCH thicker acrylic Aqua Culture Dual Betta Kit was a whole lot better. I simply drilled 5 columns of 13 holes on each of the narrow sides 1/4 inch apart at 3/32 dia. and four holes on one wide side 3/8 thick with a spade bit after a 3/32 pre-drill for some hanger suction cups from Wal-mart and it works great. I also side cut a 1/4 inch hole in the lid for an air stone. All for less than 7 bucks.
