"not recommended for fry less than 3 weeks old"
If you have a tank full of very active adult cichlids, you will lose your newly released fry very quickly. The fry will naturally try and hide under the plastic frame then watch the hungry adults just suck them right through the net. They'll just vanish. Use the Lees plastic breeding container or better, a separate tank. For holding an injured adult fish or pregnant cichlid or older free-swimming fry then it serves it's purpose.

"It works well for the price"
I have used this for nearly a year now to seperate fry and it seems to do the job. However it is so small that the fry outgrow the area in about 2 weeks and then you need a new tank. Now I only use it to put new fish into so that my big zebras won't pick on them during its first few moments getting used to new water conditions.

"Junk"
It's great if you don't mind fry pancakes. This thing has squashed numerous fry between the net and the frame. It's also very cheaply made. Mine cracked and broke to pieces after just a couple uses.

"Dont know how"
All fry got trapped and were never found again! All sick fish escaped with ease. I still cant find how they got out.

"Isolate your fry, think again!!!"
If you have an injured fish and no other tank, this might work for you. If you have small fry, don't use this at all. I used this to hold my fry and the much larger fish were able to push into the mesh and squish the fry with their mouths. Do yourself a favor and just set up a seperate tank, this fell apart after two uses.

"Fragile but inexpensive"
I like these because they are cheap but the plastic is weak and the nets are just a little TOO SMALL for the frame. I have purchased half a dozen of these over the past few years and every time I have to struggle to get the net over the frame so fry can't escape.

Giving the buyer a few fake plants is nice and they also provide additional clasps in case some get lost.

"These work for the price."
My only real gripe is the plastic is easy to break and the net material gets holes in it easy. They are easy to hook up and I have raised lots of fry in them.
