After trying coppersafe and ich attack the ich remained. This product knocked out all the ich in 4 days. The bottle dropper, either drops to quickly or real slow. I measured the droplets in the cap before dumping in the tank.
I tried the salt treatment, and the raising the temp, neither really seemed to help. I finially got Quick Cure ($2.99 at Petsmart). After just 3 days fish are happier and not flashing. I used for 10 days and haven't seen any ich since then (3mo). The dosing is easy, but the drops come out pretty fast. It did stain the silicone...and my finger...and the stand door, but works great.
When i first started keeping fish(97) my LFS in Oregon recommended Quick Cure. When I moved to Indiana, my LFS store recommened Quick Cure.. with all the medications out there you think they'd recommend something that costs more... Works very well, luckily I havn't had to use any for a long while...
It's really good. I treated a tank with ick my first year of fish keeping with this. Threw the bottle in the closet. And 2 years later dug it up again and used it again. The suprise was it actually killed the ick.
