In general, cichlids are hearty eaters and therefore produce a lot of waste. The VibraGro cichlid diet contains an increased amount of spirulina and ulva which, when combined with the unique enzymatic action, reduces waste dramatically. VibraGro's lower pH level helps to maintain the softer, more acidic environments native to African cichlids. Available in both small and large granules, the floating and sinking characteristics of VibrGro make it suitable for this species. VibraGro will not produce bloating in any cichlid.
I was looking for New Life Spectrum but couldn't find any. I saw Vibragro and wanted to try it.. My Fish loved it Right Away and I have seen more colors develop. I picked up the small pellets but they seem to small, I would recomend the large ones. This stuff really doesn't sink right away like previous comments from other users but will eventually.. My fish eat it all up before it sinks...
It sinks. That in itself is a drwaback for me. Smells very stong, so I assume it is good stuff ;). My fish will eat it if very hungry, but mostly spit it out. Great if you want a sinking food, but it gets lost amongst the gravel and the fish really have to hunt for it. Not for me.
