"Good stuff"
Have used chemi-pure for 2 years. Water clean and clear, cichlids thrive in it. Use 2 bags in Fluval 405. Change every 3-4 months on 75 gallon tank!

I HAVE BEEN USING CHEMI-PURE SINCE THE LATE SIXTIES, WHEN IT WAS STILL PACKAGED IN A PAPER COFFEE BAG I WAS FIRST INTRODUCED TO IT WHEN I WAS WORKING WITH DICK BOYD IN MIAMI AND FOUND THE PRODUCT TO BE NOTHING SHORT OF AMAZING, IT DID EVERYTHING DICK SAID IT WOULD DO. I HAVE NEVER LOST A FISH TO ANY STRESS RELATED COMPLICATIONS AND FOUND THAT EVEN THE MOST DIFFICULT SPECIES TO RAISE IN AQUARIUMS SPAWN READILY. WATER CLARITY ISSUES BECAME NON-EXISTANT. IT HAS NEVER BEEN INEXPENSIVE BUT THE VALUE IS CLEAR TO SEE IN THE MAINTENANCE WORK THAT IT SAVES.

I've been using Chemi-pure for 3 years now on my Malawis with great results. The blue-white color it produces with RO/DI water is phenomenal, and it certainly helps with toxin removal.

Replacement is about 3 months.

IMO this is very over rated product; you can get the same results w/ weekly water changes.

"Seems to help"
It seems to have helped acclimate my fish to the tank. I did fishless cycling and then fully stocked my aquarium, and had no problems whatsoever. I think that the Chemi-Pure helped in this process.

I have had no sick fish at all. Whether this is due to a good maintenance schedule, quality food, or Chemi-Pure, I am not sure, but I think the Chemi-Pure helps.

I have been using Chemi Pure in my Cichlid tanks for 10 + years and have been very satisfied with the results.
I use 2 in a Fluval 404 I have connected to a 65 sea clear tank.
The replacement cycle is around 3 months.
