The best thing since sliced bread! Just bought the 500W model for my 135g. show tank. I hid the heater behind some rocks and I don't have to worry about the rocks falling on it and breaking it. I mounted the control unit on the wall behind the tank so I can always tell if it is still in operation at a glance. Not to mention that you can't buy a glass heater this big. I have never rated a product so highly! Go get one for yourself!

"Set it and forget it"
The most reliable heater I have ever had the pleasure to use. Very well made. Just out of intrest, I check the temp often and never have seen it off as much as a degree. Well worth the $25 I spent on the Pro-Heat 300W

"Fantastic product"
I paid $50 for my 250 watt and it was well worth it. I don't have to worry about breaking it during water changes and the digital display makes it very easy to set and forget.

"It's titanium do I need to say more"
I works great, blows glass heaters out of the water. I don't think I will ever buy a glass one again after buying this one. The only problem I have is the temp guage is 3 degrees off but, still better than one that dosen't have a temp guage.

"I think I purchased a lemon!"
I had all kinds of temperature problems. First the temperature control knob has no resistance so if your hand accidentally brushes against it or if a power cord rubs agaist it the knob can easily move ten degrees. This happened to me when I was cycling my tank. The temperature reached 96 degrees! This leads me to my second gripe. The specs. on it says it has a temperature range of 60-93 degrees. When I turned it down to the lowest setting the temperature only dipped to 80 degrees. In short, this heater is a bomb!!

"Very efficent heater"
I've had mine working in my acrylic sump for over 2 years now.Never once had a problem. It's great in sump applications were water levels are a concern. If the water gets to low it shuts off.It doesn't break from lack of water like glass.Excellent product, just wish it had been introduced in the hobby sooner.Would have saved me a bundle on the ebo's I've been through.

I would recommended this heater any day to anybody. I have Pro I and II. Both are excellent heaters with latter being easier on temp. reading. Digital version is bit expensive but well worth it.

EJ are great heaters, but I think this is better. It's not breakable. Controls sit outside the tank. It keeps the temperature more consistent that EJ.

"Top quality heater!!"
I picked up a pro heat 150watt about a week and a half ago. What an excellent heater! Off the adjustment module comes two seperate , equal length wires. Of of one wire is the heater tube. Off the other wire is the thermostst sensor w/ a little suction cup. i have the heater in the middle of the tank and the sensor in the top rear corner. i really like the thermostat option. My tank has been dead on 80 degrees ever since. This is the only brand heater i will ever buy again!

"Excellent heater"
I started with a glass model heater and after about a month I ended up cracking the thing and since I added the Pro-Heat heater I haven't had a problem yet and I haven't touched the temp settings in about 5 months.
