"Best Internal Filter"
I have used all four models of the Fluval Plus filter range. These filters are reasonably easy to clean and maintain. The only drawback I found was the flow indicators seem to break after a while. Otherwise I would say these filters are the best internal filters around, sadly though have now been replaced by the Fluval U range which are overpriced and very fiddly.

"Over priced"
These are overpriced for a basic but powerfull internal filter.Only about 10 % of the filter sponges actully collect debries.Otherwise just blowing water around.

"#1 Internal Filter!!!"
this is VERY easy to use. just insert the foam pad and drop it in the tank. and when the pad get dirty - just rinse it with luke warm water & insert it back into the cartridge. (but i do recommend buying new foam pads after a few rinses.) and i admit the cost is higher than a traditional external filter but it is definately worth the money. plus it's QUIT, sleek looking, has an adjustable water flow valve, plus this product is MADE IN ITALY!!!!

"Awesome"
I have the Fluval 4+ in my 44 gallon tall corner tank and it works awesome. There is some concern about the amount of filter media but i fit a big handful of bio-media between the filter pads and my ammonia has been 0 since the tank cycled. the best part TOTALLY QUIET !!!

"The best internal filter!"
I use a fluval 1 in my 10 gallon grow out tanks. I have a fluval 2plus in my 30 a 3plus in my 40 gallon and a 4plus in my 55. I use poly fiber, sponges, phosphate pads, carbon pads, Poly Filter and about anything else I can cut to fit - very adaptable to your needs. I have bought their filter material, but find it more economical to buy in bulk and cut to fit. My water sparkles!! These filters are easy to place just about anywere, quiet, will aerate, and have great flow. I recommend them for any tank!

I have one in each of my tanks . They do the job and are simple to maintain . The filter pads come in a selection for different applications ,and they work well.

"Good Value"
This is far better than my previous filter. The adjustable rate of flow is great. I also like the air-input tube, saves having to have an airstone. Really easy to maintain and replace anything if needed. Never had any problems with it flowing backwards or anything. I'm really happy with it.

"Easy to use and clean - a good filter"
I have had two of these running in one of my tanks for a good few months. They are very easy to clean and keep running, although i found it a bit hard to get into the media. The media is very basic, comprising of two sponges, but they get the job done. Overall, a good quality filter.
