"Excellent pump!"
Very good pump, not silent but not the loudest either. Reliable, restarts easily after a power loss, very powerful.

"Great pump!"
The price is a little high compared to other pumps but this pump is quality. What makes this pump so nice is thats its quiet, real quiet. I've tried Rio, Quiet One and Marineland Maxi-Jet and the Eheim is by far the best.

"Definite problems with mine"
I had two problems with my 1262. It is VERY noisy from a bad vibration that seems to be getting worse. My 2026 Canister is absolutely silent. This 1262 has my whole tank vibrating. The second problem I have with this Eheim is the inlet and outlet fittings - they use a "G" type fitting. I've found it impossible to find anything that will fit it here in the states. It's some sort of European standard size, which I'm sure is great if you’re in Europe. Right now I've come back to the review section to see if I can find something else. For $129 I’m just not going to risk getting another one.

"it's a good pump"
Quiet, and very dependable, and well constructed. I have a couple of eheim pumps: one in my pond outside, and one on the eheim 2260 canister filter cleaning my 180. I recommend them.

"The best pumps I have ever used."
I have many of these. I have a few other brands as well. I have one 1050 pump that is over 10 years old. Still runs like day#1...never even changed the impeller. My 3 year old Mag-drive is on impeller #3 and about ready to #%$& out all together. Sure, the eheim is twice as much up front, but you wont have to worry about dumping any more money into it. BTW, these are the quietest pumps around. I used to have a powerpack (2252) on a 90 gallon next to my bed...right by my ear. I could put my ear up to the glass and hear nothing from the motor but a slight "swishing" sound of the water passing through it. By far the most versitile&reliable pump ever made.

"NOT Cheap - But Worth It...."
In my opinion, these pumps are the quietest, most reliable and highest performing submersible pumps you can purchase today.

"good overall pump"
recently set it up to suppy my ugj's, the only thing thats tough about using it, i have the 1060, is that they are not self priming and the hose sizes are pretty large, other than that, they are really quiet compared to other pumps, and powerful, able to pump 600 gph at 10 ft of head. id recommend it to anyone.
