"Standing up to the big boys"
I put 2 Beamworks on my 75 gallon tank and the brightness is unreal for the money I spent. The product is very ease to use and the new model came with a standard plug. The only down side to the product is that only the settings are set under one switch so timers would be difficult to use.
Overall I am very happy with this product and if your interested in getting one for a tank 55 gallons or greater you should get two for best coverage.

"Good bang for your buck"
I have been running 2 of these fixtures (1 48" and 1 24") for approx 6 months and 10 months respectively.

Very cost effective both in the purchase and energy consumption. While it's construction isn't what I would call "bullet-proof", I haven't had any issues with leds dying or the chasis coming apart anywhere.

I find the lighting to be bright enough for my liking (although those who prefer really bright tanks might find it a bit subdued) and grow low light plants with both of these fixtures without any difficulty.

If there were one thing I could change about it, I'd have 2 switches on the fixture so I could control the white and blue lights separately for timer purposes, thus the lower score in "Ease of Use".

"Great bang for the buck"
I put 2 36" models on my 150 gallon tank. They are amazingly compact and lightweight compared to traditional lighting. I don't have any plants in this tank due to an abundance of herbivores (Uaru, Silver Dollars, Severums), but I believe that the light output is high enough to support only low light plants like Anubias, Java Ferns, etc. I'll try the reef bright model if I ever try live plants on this tank. My only complaint is that you cannot use the lunar lights on a separate timer.

Follow up after 12 months - both power supplies eventually burned out and I had to replace at a cost of $17 each. Hopefully, the newer generations of this product have better quality.
