"EVO 750"
Been using the evo750 nearly 2 yrs. now. The wide flow never hurt my new baby Labs. Though at times I wish I had went with a pair of 1050's for my 75 gal. I contacted Hydor online and seems the 550,750,1050 and 1400 all have the same footprint. Difference is strength of motor and impeller. Great to know an upgrade in flow does not result in a larger body.

"Wonder Who"
I really wonder who designed this pump. The overall design is great. The power is really good. My only problem is with the impeller. If you look closely at the magnetic part of this piece you will see MANY MANY little seems. Why I dont know. Mine eventually seemed to take on water. That caused a swelling in the impeller!??!??! I have had another type of pump that has performed flawlessly for 20 years. NO LIE! With the same type of impeller/ magnetic drive system. I also dislike the suction cup magenetic "holder", the magent holds but all suction cups fail. ALL SUCTION CUPS FAIL ALL SUCTION CUPS FAIL maybe someone in the hobby supply business will learn someday.Overall the pump really pushes some water. And is easy on power. Just a few little problems I still like it.

"A great way to move water"
They work quiet. Small size for what they do. They look nice? My only complaint is they cannot be "aimed" far enough up or down. Otherwise I would have given them a 10 on "Ease of Use".

"Best I ever owned."
My first one was a 750 and I liked it so much I bought a 1400 for my show tank. These powerheads are the best way to move water in a fish aquarium period.

The magnetic mount is genius.

The unit easily comes apart for cleaning.

Price is a bit high so you have to shop around, but they are well worth it.

The fish enjoy it so much that I could care less what it looks like lol.

"Nice spread out flow!"
I have several maxijets (400 / 1000 / 2x 1200) and I wanted to try these Koralias so I bought a Evolution 750.

I do like how the output is spread out but its a little underpowered even at 750gph. Wish I wouldve went with the next model higher but I REALLY like the magnet mounting system!! : )

"Not an eye sore!!!"
This powerhead is a little bulky in aquqrium but it has the flow of a fire hose! It moves all kinds of debris from the bottom of the tank and the FX5 does the rest!!! I would put mine on the side of the tank, pointing the nozzle towards the back and watch it work!!! Fish really like the current it throws. Creates lots of oxygen in the tank as well. As for bulkyness, SACRAFICE A little, BUT GAINED ALOT!!!!! Got them in each of my tanks now!!! Great product!

"Great pumps!"
These are the best powerheads out there. Aside from the price nothing really compares. The magnetic attachment is awesome too.

"Good design"
They're making even better ones that have the magnet and propeller as a solid piece. This will make it even more indestructible. I have a Koralia 1 and notice plenty of water movement from it.

"nano"
i bought the nano for a small space in my 55, it's now in my 90. I need a bigger one for my 90, but they are good pumps, couldn't be easier to use or install.

"not for cichlids"
i had a koralia 4 in my cichlid tank. to get water movement and the ccichlids refused to swim in the upper part of the tank. where i had put the koralia 4, they only swam in the middle to lower half.

"Great compact design"
So far so good. Only minor negative is that food floating the water or plants get sucked into the pump and stuck on the catch screen. Not a big deal though. Magnet so far is strong enough that my 8-10" Cichlids havent been able to knock it off the wall when they attack it. Current is good, easy to change direction. Im happy with it.

"Eliminated Dead Spots"
As others have stated this unit is a little spendy, I went with the #1 for my 46g bowfront.

My filters spray bar does a great job moving water on the surface but I needed something to stir up the lower water column.

The Koralia installs easy and is extremely easy to aim. I will still have to tweak it a bit but the thing really gets the water moving.

"They move water!"
Great water movement without the strong jet of a power head. A little over-priced IMO though. Also, as others have stated, they are big and hard to hide. I use mine to provide extra aeration in my 125 gallon sump where you can't see them.
