Aqueon introduces the most accurate, reliable, durable and easy to use aquarium heaters on the market. Available in five sizes/wattages to fit any size aquarium. All Aqueon heaters are guaranteed for life.
I've used an Aqueon submersible heater (100w) on my 30G tank for almost 4 years now. So they do have life longevity.
However, a 100w heater for a 30G tank should be plenty in terms of wattage, but it has never raised the tank temperature above 74f. My recommendation is if you're going to get an Aqueon heater, get an extra 50w on top of your calculation.
Also, after about a year, one of the suction holders no longer holds suction, so the bottom end of the heater is loose.
I purchased my Aqueon in an Emergency situation for a 20L. The heater heats the water great, however it is flawed! The dial is not calibrated correctly, I set it at 75 to maintain 79-80. The auto shutoff when not in water doesnt work at all!! Do not recommend.

"Works well"
I used this heater for about a month when I first cycled my tank to make sure that my tank was constantly at 79 degrees F and it was perfect. I then realized that because I live in Florida I didn't need it year round so in other conditions where it maybe colder outside I have no in put!
I recently purchased a 100 watt version of this heater from Big Al's online, they shipped my order very fast and I had the heater two days later. The next day when I installed the heater, I followed all instructions and let the heater sit in the tank for 15 minutes before plugging it in (to equalize temperature). Well, when I walked over to the tank to plug the heater in I was amazed to see that the heater was quickly filling with water and was already about half full! I am very disappointed to say the least! Although this is a bad experience thus far, Big Al's has AMAZING customer service and I will be shipping this piece of #)&! back so I can get choose a different brand. and to think I was going to try Aqueon's line of power filters... No Way!
Works good, but the one I have has some condensation inside and the glass is fogging up. It does not seem to be leaking though. I think it's just from the air in the tube.
I really like how thin the tube is.

"stable but mislabled"
works fine but the dial is poorly calibrated... mine reads 70 degrees on the dial. I maintain the tank at 79
I have an Aqueon 150W in my 29 G and 300W in my 38 G. Both heaters are poorly calibrated, but once I achieved the temperature I wanted (I keep both at 80 degrees F) they have been stable. Good value and relatively inconspicuous.
