"High Quality food for mbunas"
They love it( of course with mbuna you could throw dog food in and they would love it! lol), but seriously, the Tropheus in particular love it and even the Compressiceps eat it. I got it on sale at Petsmart online for 3.55 a 2.2 oz can. Sale ends soon! 11/17/13. Best part is that it is SOOOO much cleaner than pellet food for the tank!

"Awesome food"
I feed this to my Hap/Peacock tank because I was concerned with too much protein in thier diets and bloat. This stuff is devoured instantly! Good size flake...doesnt cloud the water! Highly recommend!

"Just Right"
When Omega One Cichlid Flakes proved too meaty for my Malawi's I switched to Super Kelp Flakes. No more near misses with bloat. These are just right.

"High quality food."
I have used this food for years. It has been great for many generations of cichlids that I have bred. The fish love it and it never made them sick or clouded the water. However, more expensive than most brands.

"Not impressed at all."
The can is about 1/3 dust, the fish only reluctantly eat it, and it clouds the water excessively. Go with Nutrafin Max Spirulina flake!

"Good stuff, but some fish are fussy about it."
I tried this stuff recently after my LFS started carrying it and I had heard great things about it. It's very nutritious and full of quality ingredients. My Cichlids will not touch it if they have already eaten once in the day. If however, I feed it to them as the first meal of the day, they seem to like it. I would say that my fish more readily attack HBH 8 Veggie Flake, Nutrifin Max, or Hikari. Smells plenty fishy, so you'd think that it would be appealing, but my fish are fussy.

"One of the Best!"
I am not a fan of all of Omega One flakes, but I do love these. They are nice sized and not much dust in the can as opposed to
many others.

"Mbuna go crazy for this stuff!"
My mbuna hit this stuff like a ton of bricks. I've never seen as much splashing as I have with this food. They hit the Omega One Veggie Flakes and Cichlid Flakes pretty hard, but nothing like this stuff!

"My Tropheus Ilangi LOVE it"
I have 23 Ilangi in a 60gal tank. When I first introduced them they would not eat the OSI Spirolina flakes, I next tryed the Kelp flakes and it was a hit. The only thing I don't like is that there is a lot of "bark" chunks. I'm talking about these small splintes that the fish can't chew up. No big deal, it is neat to watch them chase each other with these chunks sticking out of there mouths. I originally went with it due to the low protien content, especaill with Tropheus' aversion to protien. GOOD STUFF

"Good sh*t"
Excellent quality, most fish will tear it up but a few will spit it out. Only gripe is youre left with 50% dust at the bottom of the can.
Nutrafin Max spirulina way better, 95% flake and ALL haps/peacocks and mbuna destroy it.

"Great for herbivores"

This one is great for herbivores. I use it to grow out ancistrus fry and for malawi cichlids. Many spirolina or veggie flakes have protein content over 40%, which means what's the difference between it and a flake for carnivores? This one has only 32% protein.

"Best Flakes around!"
All my fish love this. It's highly recommended. The best spirulina flakes you'll find.
