"Unlike their dry foods, Hikari's frozen treats rock!"
I am not a big fan of Hikari's pellet foods because fish don't seem to like them. Hikari's frozen treats (of any type) including this Krill are excellent though! My fish seem to love Hikari frozen foods and they are all soaked with lots of vitamins and minerals. Good quality, good price, good value. The fact that they have such a clean operation is nice to know too. Their Bio Pure process guarantees no parasites or unwanted bacteria in their food. Same goes for their flake and pellet foods, plus with the dry foods they seal their food with nitrogen infusion, so it doesn't oxidize and lose it's nutritional value. Pretty smart if you ask me and more natural than using preservatives. Their pellets though, are overpriced and unpalatable.

".......Absolutely awesome"
This is the best food I find for my E.B. Ahli. As well as my Lithobates, Once a week, just that it out and cichlids become like pirahnas in the water, oh yes gets them full of energy and the like to spawn after this food...colors look good and they are always healthy..nothing makes it to the bottom, they go insane with this food!

"Good stuff"
I turned to this when my Green Severum refused to eat anything after getting him back from a buddy who was taking care of him for a year when I was in China. He hadn't eaten anything in a week, but he went crazy for this. Very clean for frozen food and you won't have little peices of food floating arround the tank afterwards.

This is by far the least messy frozen food I have used. The fish go crazy when I drop this in the tank. Thaw first in a glass of tank water. It's a little costly, but worth the price.

"Great"
I buy the 4oz flat packs and my cichids love it. I gave it a 5 on ease of use because they only have one size of krill and you have to chop it up for the smaller fish. It is very clean if you thaw it in a small bowl and drain excess waste is the sink.

"This stuff is great"
This is by far the least messy frozen food I have used. It's easy to feed and the fish fight over it. They go crazy when I drop this in the tank. The only complaint I have is that it's a little costly, but I guess freshness has it's price.

"Great Product"
I bought this because my fronts eat a lot. They love it, though sometimes, if one of the smaller fronts gets a big one, they spit it out. The other thing, and this is probably a concern only to frontosa keepers: make sure they sink (some of them will float). Otherwise, I have two large "slabs" in the freezer, and my fish do well with this food.

"Fish cannot resist"
It's hard to get a fish NOT to eat this food....I've seen no down-sides so far.

"Finicky fish love it"
I turned to this product when my new wild calvus would not eat pellets or flake. They took to it the first time they saw/smelled it. Krill is whole and not very messy.
