"Beautiful and realistic"
I've use 4 variations of these backgrounds. They are not cheap, but for what they are and look like, they worth it! Except for some missing "built in" magnet issues, the quality is great. Especially after a few months, then the background has become a little "dirty" and some normal algae growth and they look really sweet, I mean nice.

"Expensive and not straightforward"
I am close to completing the installation of Flatrock IV into a Juwel Rio400 and it has been a long and frustrating process. firstly, it took 6 weeks from placing an order to receving the items from the manufacturer via the UK agent. Then the dimensions are not as advertised, the height was out by 1.5" which caused me a lot of problems. Fitting is not straightforward because the backs are not flat - my layout has been very problemmatic. The finsihed effect should be worth the money and the effort. I have 2 Back-to-Nature backgrounds and I much prefer them at the minute. you could also consider Habi-Scape rockwall as a much cheaper and less troublesome option.

"Very happy with my background"
I bought their Amazonas I background for my 72" All-glass bow-front tank. Had to cut it in 5 pieces to get it in (a little scary but not too difficult). Very happy with the result!

Prior to purchase, I wrote several emails all promptly answered. They're really friendly and helpful!

""No Regrets ""
After viewing the "Back To Nature" internal backgrounds I had resigned myself to a spot of DIY as the prices were shocking...

Then I got a tip off about Pangea of Denmark. www.pangeashop.com

Looking through their extensive website I chose a "Flatrock IV - 47"x20" in black for my Tanganyikan aquarium.
Whilst not cheap at us$130 (£75), it was still far cheaper than BTN.

The customer care was second to none, and the delivery was prompt.

Now that the piece is my aquarium, observers often comment as much about the decor as they do the fish that I keep, which really pleases me, and makes me feel that it was money well spent indeed.

Even though my piece is "Flatrock" it still has many crevises deep enough for small fish to hide in.

Any future aquariums that I set-up will unquestionably have Pangea backgrounds.

"Good looking background"
I recently purchased a Pangea Flatrock IV for my new 55 gallon tank. Pangea customer service was very attentive and promptly answered all my questions. Shipping took less than a week. The background shipped in one piece so I had to cut it in 3 to fit it into my tank. I also had to trim about 1,5 inches off the thickness to to make it fit my "skinny" tank better. Installing it was simple and I really like the way it looks in my tank. Should look even better when algae starts to grow on it.
