Preventative treatment and cure for mild Ick and protozoan parasites. Effective treatment for "closed fins"; "body fungus"; "velvet" and ""sluggishness". Is a highly effective net-dip. Does not harm fish. There is no tolerance buildup against Aquari Sol by fish. Aquari-Sol is proclaimed by fish hobbyists world-wide as the most effective preventative treatment against Ick. Aquari Sol can be used to cure outbreaks of Ick (though Quick Cure is recommended). Once cured, Aquari Sol is an excellent preventative treatment that won't harm fish or aquarium plants. Use Aquari Sol weekly and whenever new fish are added to your aquarium.
3/4 oz. dropper bottle, 4 oz., 16 oz., 32 oz. or 1 gallon.
I introduced some new fish and in about a week and half noticed the white spots. I wanted something that would not change the color of water and this fit the bill. I raised the water temp to about 84 degrees and after a few days of treatment as directed the spots started getting less and less.
Copper is a powerful antibiotic as well as a anti protozoan. There have been talks of using copper door handles etc in hospitals to help combat those nasty super bugs that appearing.
"Cant beat the Price for the number of treatments!"
I have a 600 gallon Aquarium and I was sick when I saw my fish come down with ich! Mainly because I was afraid of what the cost would be to treat 600G thats when I found Aquarisol and was supprised at how little a dose it takes compared to water volume being treated. In 2 treatments (1 dose per day for 3 days then a 20% water change followed by another 3 days) I was ich free and this was at a water temp of 82F. the fish that are in the tank are Silver Dollars, Arowana, Cory cats Glass knife and Oscars. None of the fish died and that was at full strength treatments.
I had been experiencing the ich problem since I started a new tank a month ago. I used the jungle ich tab, did not quite work. Then I lost my 6 junvenil angels. Then I bought four angels and start using Aquari-Sol. I didn't remove the filter media because I don't want to disturb the establishing nitrifying bacterial and I didn't raise the temperature. But there's only one angel got infected and it seems it's been contained for a couple of days. I'm not sure if it's the daily 50% of water change improve the water condition or it's actually the medicine. Either way, I'll probably continue using this as a net-dip.
i had ick 2 times in the last 2 years, and both times i used aquari-sol. It works! And it seems to be very safe for fish. I used it on my clown loaches at full medication and they were fine. Its safe for plants and i recommend it. it quite inexpensive to buy as well
We have been using Aquari-sol for over 15 years. We only use it as a preventive, and we have never gotton ich while using this treatment. We have clown loaches, and they arent effected by it (although we dont do full doses)
Bought it for ich, didn't work at all, even after several treatment cycles. Don't give up on copper though, Cupramine works great. Aquari-sol does seem to very safe, the fish actually seem to love it they play like crazy after treatment). I have given up on it as a medicine and use it as a net-dip, so it wasn't a total loss.
