"Not good"
This was my 1st tank & if I had known any better I would not have bought it. My other two tanks employ Marineland HOB's & they are far more better than this POS system.

The intake tube is unstable, the filter compartment is just, well, bad!

Good idea, bad design...

"Eclipse 12"
If you are looking for an all inclusive package out of the box, this is a great set-up. The built in filter is very easy maintenance. The tank has a nice finished look to it. Mine even came with a bonus heater in the box.

"29g setup"
I like this setup a lot. For a small tank its really nice and clean. It also has sufficient water fitration and movement so no powerheads are needed at all. Lots of light is produced from the dual bulbs and it can be found online (lid only) for about $95, so its not too bad considering it is a lid, lighting, and filter all in one piece.

"Eclipse 29 system"
The filter cartridge location, although easy to get to, is not effective. The BIO-Wheel is, without a doubt, the BEST filtration. But, the placement of the water return can make for some noise (was loud in my livingroom) if you let the water get to low. After changing the cartridges out almost every other week, I decided to go a different route. I bought some Activated carbon then put it in filter/media bags. I stuffed them pretty tight, so that I KNEW the water had to flow through and not over like on the cartridge. I found some filter foam an dstood it up in a little 2inch long, wide enough to go to both sides on the tray, for mechanical in the 'first stage' of the tray, two charcoal bags, and a BIOSorb 'bag' next. Charcoal in bulk and a few bags for the media ended up working better than the cartridge and was cheaper...

"I couldn't ask for anything better!"
I bought the 37g show-tank combo just for the aquarium itself. It has the same base-dimensions as a 29g but it's taller and solidly built. You can't go wrong with Marineland.

"Also available in 37 gallon show tank"
I love it - the bio-wheel technology is great. I can only find two drawbacks here - the integrated system makes it impossible to add a HO power filter, and the mechanical filter chamber on the Eclipse 3 isn't deep enough to be able to add additional carbon.
