I have transitioned my Redsea 70 gallon tank to freshwater and I am looking to have Demasoni , a very slight idea about Red Jewels since they are considered Dwarfs and Yellow Labs.
Question 1: Is it possible to house both Demasoni and Red Jewels?
Question 2: How many Demasoni should be in with the Yellow Labs?
Tank dimensions are 36" L x 22.6" W x 56" H .
Because of the 36" length, the tank is borderline too small for mbuna.
If you are locked in to the tank, I would try a single species tank. Twelve demasoni (after removing extra males) OR a pair of jewels OR 1m:4f yellow labs.
You're asking for trouble with the demasoni. Go with a small group of yellow Labidochromis. It will be a pretty tank, and you won't have to become an expert in anger management. :thumb:
