Conjoined twin Frontosas

Not the best picture but we are the proud parents of conjoined frontosas. They appear to be joined in the middle and both heads were eating.

I'm not sure a serious congenital defect is something to be proud of. These poor things should be euthanized immediately; clove oil is a humane method.

I had a pair of blue dolphin (Malawi) fry that were like that when I stripped the mom many years ago. If I recall correctly they died a few days later.

I'm not sure why, but this isn't completely uncommon for frontosa types. I've seen, or heard of it a number of times. They never survive.
