Fry tank heater fail

Postby Ralph493 » Tue Oct 01, 2019 1:28 pm

I have a 30 gallon fry tank with probably 15+ Afra and Saulosi fry between one month and three months old. Went to do a water change to find water temp was 95. Immediately removed heater and added air stones and water pump to move water and add oxygen hopefully. Have no idea how long temp was that high. In past four hours temp has dropped around five degrees. The fry all seem fine and acting normally. Any other suggestions other than what I've done? I thought it best not to artificially drop temp and let it cool gradually by water movement.
