Can I put these two types of shell dwellers in the same 40 gallon tank? I cannot find any answer to this question when I look to find the answer.

Most fishkeepers do not mix shelldwellers in a single tank to avoid cross breeding.

33G Hara; 33G Kwanga; 33G Homeless Peacocks; 33G Cobue

DJ Thank you that helps and I get the idea now..no mixing of similar breeds if breeding pairs exist. So i will just get the Lamp. Melegrise which I think I will like the best because they also protect their young.
