Polysigma Male/female ?

Also with this fish, its 4 and a half inches now, was sold to me as a male?
I see just a spec of light green on its lip.....

Looks male to me. The fins are starting to get pointed and there's alittle green on the lip in the second picture.

Could be male. The Polystigma and Livingstoni are not males that show much early color, and may rarely color up much. Depends on the situation.

rarely color up much? sigh i did not know that. Will keep it though and see what happens. Such a peaceful fish, no one bothers him he doesn't bother anyone.

Mine would keep color on his head but the rest of the body would change constantly. Also one of the meanest nimbos I have kept.
