I've got a 125 with the following livestock. I was wondering if I could add a Green Terror to the mix without causing harm to the rest. Thanks in advance for the feedback.
- 20 Congo Tetras
- 3 Red Eye Tetras
- 2 Gold Severum, about 6" each
- 1 flagtail prochilodus, about 5"
- 3 Gymnogeophagus Balzanii
- 2 Synodontis Decorus
- 1 Synodontis Notatus
- 1 Synodontis Ocellifer
- 1 Synodontis Eupterus
- 5 Blue Acara are in quarantine for another 10 days but will be going in this tank.

Re: Mixed SA stock recommendations
Seems like a lot of fish for a 125. The Balzaniis need cooler water and I'm not sure if the various synodontis will get along. The green terror is probably too aggressive for the other cichlids.
150 Gallon:
Geophagus, Angelfish
90 Gallon:
Bolivian Rams, Rummynoses, Corys, Dwarf Loaches, Neons, Glass Catfish

Green terrors and blue acaras usually won’t work together because they look very similar

The aquarium actually looks pretty empty considering the stock. There are plenty of hiding spots for the Synodontis cats. I set the tank up to hold Africans cichlids and Synodontis but changed my mind mid stream. There are a lot of rocks with cave and some wood but, no plants. There were plants but the Geos kept digging them up. The Synodontis Notatus had some battle scars in the beginning but they all get along now. Only the 2 little Decorus chase each other around and that's only over food. The Severum and Geos only chase each other but there's never been any real damage done. Just dominance spats.

Any particular reason you look for a green terror?
I would think it look to similar to the blue acaras, and look for a differently looking fish.
