Tang Tank 150g stocking help required

Postby mattaff » Sat Mar 17, 2018 10:01 pm

Hi all, have kept cichlids on and off for may years with work forcing me do give up and re home my setups. have kept both Central American and Tangs.
I have just ordered a 157g (Us) and will run a weir and sump setup to allow for future expansion.

I intend to set this up as a Tang Tank.

I am leaning towards Fronts but could really do with some advice on stocking with these in mind.

If you have time I would also like to hear your thoughts on what you would stock in a tank of this size with or without fonts and why.

IF it is of any benefit I would be happy to share my tank build/setup as it happens for newbies.

thanks for reading

What are the dimensions of the tank? Frontosa are ideal in a species tank.

Length is most important...personally would not go to 30". Will let the frontosa keepers chime in on how many.
