Thoricthys ellioti

I'm curious about the care of these guys, I've got some spare tanks laying around and I saw them on live aquaria and looked them up. They seem to be a beautiful fish, I would probably have them in a moderately planted aquarium.

They're aggressive. I started with a group of 7 or 8, the biggest being maybe 3 inches. The plan was to to keep a male or 2 with as many females as I could have. They eventually started killing each other off until I was left with one. Apparently the are one of the more aggressive thorichthys.
