Advice on moving tank to tank

Postby ShadowPhoenix » Thu Oct 19, 2017 7:28 pm

I have a 55gal and a 10gal. In the 10gal I have a Pseudotropheus Lombardoi which is about 2in and is very dominant, constantly chasing the other tank mates and has likely been part of the cause to the death of one of second to last addition we made. With the latest addition I proactively put it in a breeder's net to exclude it from attacking, letting it out once a day to swim and such. I'm curious whether or not it's time to move it into the 55gal. However it's aggression worries me as we just had a fry from one of the 55gal inhabitants and although it's safe where it's at for the time being but as small as the Pseudotropheus Lombardoi is, it could get into the hiding spot the fry has.

I would rehome the lombardoi as a 55G is too small for it as well.
