Should be okay, although I would go with a few more demasoni, perhaps 15-18?
I'd also only go with one male polit, with 3-4 females. Or, if you're really feeling brave go with 3 male polits and 9 females. 2 males just never work out well. (You'd probably want to eliminate something else in order to make the polit group that large...)

hm my demasoni seem to be fine in the group of 12, use to have alot more but I had a bad bloat problem a few months back
taught me a hard lesson never feed BLOOD WORMS!!!!

Sorry, I thought you meant you were purchasing demasoni, in which case I was advising to going with more than 12. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!
