New to mbunas

Hello yall.
Im a newby & i really like these type of fish. Lookin for help.
I have a 40g breeder/ fluv 407 & sponge filter . But i have 1-angel. 1 kribensis. 1 rainbow shark. 2 cats pictus & pela.
Can i want to add mbunas but the smaller ones. Does anybody have recommendations? Tyvm

I would get a separate tank that is 48" long or longer for the mbuna to accomodate their aggression (not related to their size). Research the angel and the krib and see if they need to be kept differently...are they OK as single fish kept together in a 40G?
