Lake Malawi Species • Mixing fry to grow out

I currently breed Demasoni, electric yellow labs and no Swedish Hongi.

With so may fry I wondered if it’s ok to mix them into one or two tanks? They don’t stay with me long and most are sold around an inch in size. Just trying to cut down on tanks for separate species around the house.

You should be able to mix those fry together with no problems.

As long as they are similar sized. Fry will kill smaller fry

Should I keep the Hongis separate? Another barred fish although they do get shifted on quickly

I personally would just to keep them from getting mixed up at a small size
