how can this work?

was at a customers today and checked out their 4' 60g. Said never lost a fish and they were 3years old. I was just amazed how many species and such

1 RedTail Shark Cyprinidae
2 Duboisi Tropheus duboisii
1 Kenyi Metriaclima lombardoi
1 Maingano Pseudotropheus cyaneorhabdos
1 Demasoni Pseudotropheus demasoni
1 Kinsizei Metriaclima pulpican
4 Saulosi Pseudotropheus saulosi
2 Rusty Iodotropeus sprengerae
5 Yello Lab Labidochromis caeruleus

Did it look like a goldfish feeder tank?

Another example of a tank where fish are surviving, but probably not thriving.

I wonder the % and frequency of the water changes required in a tank like that.

How can this work?

It can't. But look on the bright side- he can add 9 more tanks of this size to his fish room, and not have to buy any more fishes. :o :o :o
