Demasoni question

Postby ironspider » Fri Oct 16, 2020 7:10 am

A few months ago I added two more Demasoni and 3 yellow labs to my existing 55 gallon. One Demasoni hasn't really grown while everyone else has, he/she is still basically the size it was. Is this going to be a problem, did I get a bum fish? It is nice having a baby in there at all times though.

I usually find that a fish that grows more slowly than the others to the point where I feel health support is needed can catch up if I work on managing tank aggression/competition (and for demasoni this can mean more demasoni as opposed to less) or in more extreme cases, isolate and grow out in a tank where there is no competition.

I have not had a fish I felt was stunted and I was never able to get them to grow.
