For a properly stocked (high female to male ratio) 75 gallon Saulosi only tank, what is the highest number of adult males a person could realistically stock? Also, how many females in total?

Thanks.

Shoot for 20 total with 4 females per male. So 4 males. It is possible that only one male will color well.

What could you add if you wanted an equal number of blue and yellow?

You wouldn’t want an equal number of male and female.

I would not try this with saulosi, but you would do one species blue like callainos and one species yellow like yellow labs. For a 75G rectangle it would be 1m:6f of each.

Thanks DJ, that’s what I was looking for. Was not trying to get there with Saulosi. I should have been more clear.

I'm trying to decide whether I want a single or multi species tank. I know which mbuna species I like and would want in the same tank, but I know it isn't advisable to mix certain species. Might be cool to just do a single species tank.
