I know that some females might have egg spots, has anyone seen a male without them? The dominant make always seems to have more than the others, is this true?

Ok, thanks for the answers. Has anyone knowingly had a male without egg spots?
Here is the thing, Peacocks describes many species, and many hybrids as well. Many of these Aulonocara, pure species peacocks, generally do not have egg spots, as adult dominant males. Then there are species where dominant males, almost always have egg spots.... so it really depends on what you mean, by "peacocks".
