Stocking Advice 30Gal Mbuna Tank

Postby toyopl » Sat May 30, 2020 4:17 pm

Hello all, trying to get some advice on stocking for my 30gal tank.
This is a new tank I'm setting up, but I'm not familiar with chichlids at all.

Could you recommend something that woul keep tank colorfull if at all possible.
Tryig to figure out what can I keep, in what quanitity, and smaller size that will give variety of color.
In ideal world I would love some blue, yellow, red in there, but I understand I'm at minimum tank size here.

Hi

I’m new to cichlids too. First thing you will need to tell everyone is the measurements of your tank.

Thanks

I can't think of any mbuna I would put in there. Ideal for mbuna would be 48" long (wide) or more.

I have heard of people being successful with saulosi in a 30" tank, but you have only 24".

Would you consider apistogrammas?
