Hi everyone,
I currently have 5 Sunrise/sunset peacocks in a 75 gallon tank.
I am considering adding Labidochromis (yellow) to that tank.
I was also considering Melanochromis maingano (electric blue) but read they can be aggressive.
Do you think these three species would be fine together or does the Melanochromis pose too big of a risk to the rest of the species?
I typically purchase 5 at a time hoping for 1 male and several females. I have heard this reduces the aggressiveness a little.
Thanks,
Rob

In general I would not mix mbuna with peacocks. You are right, the maingano are not among the timid, peaceful mbuna.
The yellow labs should be OK with the peacocks which are hybrids and therefore tend to be a little more comfortable with peaceful mbuna like yellow labs.
