My red zebra and blue!

Postby Brian2020 » Sun Apr 12, 2020 12:16 am

Have these two fish in my 75 gallon tank with my 4 victorian neryia , 2 Julies , 5 calvus , 6 comps, one burtoni , one pleco, 2 Cory cats with no issues . I am excited to have all the African rift cichlids in my tank..

How long have all these fish been in your tank together?

I have always respected your knowledge and honesty not trying to bend the curve , just decided to go in another direction and plan on getting rid of the red/blue zebra.

Thanks for the explanation. I did not realize that you planned to mix nyererei and Tanganyikans. I have kept both but never together. I would expect the nyererei to be too aggressive for the Tanganyikans.

Your fish have not had issues for the first three months. IME that is too early to evaluate the success of a mix. IME problems are likely to be few initially and develop as the fish mature in six or nine or twelve months. So far so good. Let us know if you see issues (or not) as the months progress.

Will do the neryia have grown so freakin big as of late , and they and the Zebras pick on each other while the Julied , comps and Congo’s are left alone . But will get rid off the Zebras and Neryia because those Tangs are so awesome .
